RENEWING ERGC MEMBERS

If you would like to renew your ERGC membership, click below to get started.

* You cannot renew until your existing membership expires.

RANGE ORIENTATION

New members do not gain shooting privileges at the range until they have completed range orientation.

Orientation is held throughout the day at the Range Safety Officer’s convenience (i.e. if he’s busy checking people in or handling other range issues, orientation needs to wait until he’s free). The last orientation will begin no later than one hour prior to range closing time. The goal of the safety video is to ensure new members fully understand the range rules, and are familiar with the range facilities.

RANGE STANDARDS

Range safety rules apply to all members who are held responsible for their accompanied guests at all times. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, free of any felony convictions, and willing to complete a Waiver of Liability form. An ERGC membership is a family membership covering the primary member, his or her spouse, as well as the member’s children under the age of 18.

All guests, without exception, will be required to complete a Waiver of Liability form upon entering the Range. A “spectator” is defined as a person who is at the range simply to observe the activities and they do not do ANY shooting. “Spectators” are “guests” and will not be charged the “guest” fee, however they will still be required to complete Waiver of Liability form.

For the complete list of rules, requirements, and restrictions, please download the ERGC Standard Operating Procedure by clicking this text.

RANGE FAQs

Only members and member-attended guests are granted access to the firing line. If you don’t know any of our members but would like to visit the range as a spectator, please contact us – we’d love the opportunity to give you a tour of our facility! Please note that everyone visiting ERGC property will be required to sign a liability waiver, regardless of whether they’re shooting or spectating.

For the complete list of rules, requirements, and restrictions, please download the ERGC Standard Operating Procedure by clicking this text.

Guest – Limit of two non-family guests per membership. A guest is a member-sponsored shooter who has signed the required liability waiver, intends to participate in shooting activities, and has paid the associated fee. After paying their guest fee, guests are issued a wrist band. The wrist band identifies the person as authorized to shoot under member supervision. The guest must display the wrist bands at all times while at the range. Members and guests cannot shoot at the same time. The member must at all times be in a position and reach to stop the guest from an unsafe act. Children of the member 18 years or older fall under the guest category. Sponsoring member will ensure guests comply.

Spectator – A spectator is a non-shooting guest who may or may not be accompanied by a member i.e. someone looking at the facilities or spectating a match and is not required to pay the guest fee. They will wear hearing and eye protection as required by range rules and will not participate in any type of shooting activities unless guest requirements are met.

Spectators without a member sponsor will complete a liability waiver and be continually escorted by the RSO during the range orientation.

Spectator with a member sponsor will complete a liability waiver and be escorted by the member during his/her visit of the range.

Note: It is the member’s responsibility to ensure all guests and spectators report directly to the RSO upon entering the range. All Guests and Spectators are required to sign a Liability Waiver form.

  3. All children under the age of 18 years must be fitted with eye and ear protection while on the firing line. Ear and eye protection are available for sale in the range office.

The Escambia River Gun Club will host its first ICORE match on April 6th!NEW FLORIDA CLUB --- ESCAMBIA RIVER ICORE!
Escambia River Gun Club (ERGC) has approved ICORE as a new discipline, and it will be led by long-time ICORE member Dick DiVittorio! Escambia River ICORE is ICORE-122. The range is near Pensacola in the FL panhandle.

Dick is a former ICORE Rules Director and also started ICORE in Orlando, FL, first at East Orange Shooting where he was the gunsmith, then at Central FL RPC where ICORE is alive and well. After relocating to the FL panhandle, Dick and his wife Denise are finally looking forward to having fun with revolvers again at ERGC. Dick will be the club rep, Denise will serve as scorekeeper and registrar, and new ICORE members Dewayne Gainous and Glen Bryant have committed to working with them.

The introductory match will be on April 6, 2024, 9am. The summer matches will incorporate a classifier, and the August match will be a dedicated all-classifier match so that the new ICORE members will achieve a classification in at least one Division.

Welcome back to Dick and Denise, and thank you!

If you’re headed to the range in the next day or two, you’ll notice some large equipment! We have a crew out mining our berms for lead. This process makes some money for the range and ensures our berms are not packed with lead which could lead to a safety hazard. Additionally, Range 4 will be getting concrete this week! ... Thank you

That’s great Except wouldn’t a tarp on the ground save some time??

I’m a new member. May take a buzz over to look that place over. Not a bad idea what they are doing! I used to melt down our old lead back in the 60’s and pour new bullets…
