Range Hours & Location

IMPORTANT NOTES

  2. Spouses shoot as Guests of the primary member, if he or she wants there own card or to shoot without the card holder they will need to purchase their own membership.
  3. Member must be free of felony convictions.  If the member’s spouse will will also be shooting , he or she must also be free of felony convictions.

RANGE ORIENTATION

New members do not gain shooting privileges at the range until they have completed range orientation.

Orientation is held throughout the day at the Range Safety Officer’s convenience (i.e. if he’s busy checking people in or handling other range issues, orientation needs to wait until he’s free). The last orientation will begin no later than one hour prior to range closing time. The goal of the safety video is to ensure new members fully understand the range rules, are familiar with the range facilities, and have any questions answered by a range official.  Your official membership card will be available at the range within a few weeks.  Use your temporary card until the new card is available.

RANGE STANDARDS

Range safety rules apply to all members who are held responsible for their accompanied guests at all times. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, free of any felony convictions, and willing to complete a Waiver of Liability form. An ERGC membership is a family membership covering the primary member, his or her spouse, as well as the member’s children under the age of 18.

All guests, without exception, will be required to complete a Waiver of Liability form upon entering the Range. A “spectator” is defined as a person who is at the range simply to observe the activities and they do not do ANY shooting. “Spectators” are “guests” and will not be charged the “guest” fee, however they will still be required to complete Waiver of Liability form.

RANGE FAQs

Only members and member-attended guests are granted access to the firing line. If you don’t know any of our members but would like to visit the range as a spectator, please contact us – we’d love the opportunity to give you a tour of our facility! Please note that everyone visiting ERGC property will be required to sign a liability waiver, regardless of whether they’re shooting or spectating.

For the complete list of rules, requirements, and restrictions, please download the ERGC Standard Operating Procedure by clicking this text.

Guest – Limit of two non-family guests per membership. A guest is a member-sponsored shooter who has signed the required liability waiver, intends to participate in shooting activities, and has paid the associated fee. After paying their guest fee, guests are issued a wrist band. The wrist band identifies the person as authorized to shoot under member supervision. The guest must display the wrist bands at all times while at the range. Members and guests cannot shoot at the same time. The member must at all times be in a position and reach to stop the guest from an unsafe act. Children of the member 18 years or older fall under the guest category. Sponsoring member will ensure guests comply.

Spectator – A spectator is a non-shooting guest who may or may not be accompanied by a member i.e. someone looking at the facilities or spectating a match and is not required to pay the guest fee. They will wear hearing and eye protection as required by range rules and will not participate in any type of shooting activities unless guest requirements are met.

Spectators without a member sponsor will complete a liability waiver and be continually escorted by the RSO during the range orientation.

Spectator with a member sponsor will complete a liability waiver and be escorted by the member during his/her visit of the range.

Note: It is the member’s responsibility to ensure all guests and spectators report directly to the RSO upon entering the range. All Guests and Spectators are required to sign a Liability Waiver form.

Maintenance Monday Update. We are blessed to have active members come out and help us. A huge thanks goes out to Fed Hubacker, Todd Ring, Steve Glennand, Logan Duran & Mike Roberts. We worked them to exhaustion today. It's super hard geting projects finished. We have to focus on making sure we are ready to open on Tuesday. After that then we work on all the "Good Ideas" & Projects. Today was about safety!
We managed to raise the Range 3 berms by several feet.
We also have a barrier wall between Range 1 & 2 that stops splatter for people setting up long distance targets. That wall was raised 3 feet. We also got our down range targets ready for Tuesday.
Range 5B was elevated and extended another 8 feet to mitigate members shooting in downward angles causing ricochet. 😳

Good news
Range 5A & 5B are open for pew pew. Please remember 5A is rim fire LR22 only. No exceptions. I hope you enjoy it, those ranges are still under construction but now we can use them while we build.

Last but not least we had the pleasure of meeting retired Navy Diver Martin Bickford aka Bird. 😀 He is spearheading making Range 1 & 2 handicapped accessible. The guy is amazing & I hope you all get a chance to meet him one day. 🙏
