Defensive pistol shooting as a sport is the use of practical equipment to solve simulated “real world” self-defense scenarios. The Northwest Florida Defensive Pistol Shooters hold IDPA events on the third Saturday of the month at ERGC on Ranges 6 and 7.

This match uses American Rimfire Association (ARA) rules. Any .22 rimfire rifle can be used along with any optic, any magnification. The .22 Rimfire Benchrest matches occur at ERGC on the 4th Saturday of each month.
