ERGC's CCW and Safety Class

Note: The certificate that you will receive after completion of this class will satisfy the safety class requirements to obtain a concealed weapons permit throughout the state of Florida. Application information will be provided.


Cost: $85.00

We provide: Firearms and ammunition
You must provide: eye and hearing protection

Participation by convicted felons or those restricted by law from firearm ownership/use is strictly prohibited.


You must REGISTER for the class ahead of time.

 Class size is limited to 20 participants.

 A liability waver will be required.
     You can execute the ERGC Liability Release
     and bring it with you to you class.

CCW Application in Escambia County
The Warrington Tax Collector Office (4051 Barrancas Avenue, Suite A) is accepting applications for concealed weapon licenses by appointment only.

Appointments can be made online (link:  https://kiosk.qless.com/kiosk/app/home/17016) or by calling 850-438-6500 x3252.

CCW Application in Fort Walton Beach
You can apply for your CCW directly from the Fort Walton Regional Office of the Dept of Agriculture. Call 850-833-9146 for an appointment.  They are located in Choctaw Plaza, across from Choctawhatchee High School.  Their address is:

     111 Racetrack Road NW, Unit 111-C
     Fort Walton Beach, FL

You must bring a photo I.D., and one of the following:
    1) a copy of gun safety course certificate; or
    2) copy of current military I.D.; or
    3) copy of DD-214.
    4) $112 processing fee (check or money order)
The office will process the fingerprints and photograph.  The application will be done online in the office during the appointment. From what we've heard, the turnaround for getting your CCW this way is significantly faster than mailing the application.
